About
I wanted to create a safe space for men and women to meet each other as human beings.
From my professional experience as a dating coach and my personal experience in the dating scene in the last 4 years, I realized something….the apps are getting worse and worse.
As a coach, I always tell my clients to take breaks from the dating apps because bad experiences breed cynicism and that cynicism breeds lack of effort and lack of effort breeds bad outcomes. It’s a feedback loop we can’t escape from.
Meeting someone exclusively online is dehumanizing. But also statistically dating apps are 80% men and 20% women. Part of this comes from the fact that women are only attracted to 4% men (based on looks alone). Men are attracted to about 75% of women based on looks alone. So many men are being overlooked on the apps because a woman has no idea if she is attracted to him just based on looks.
I wanted to create a safe space for men and women to meet each other as human beings. I want to bring back interactions that honor each person’s humanity. I wanted people who are nervous to be able to practice talking in person and putting their best foot forward.
